Scent Blends
(many compiled and contributed by Tina, thanks Tina!)

 Due to some unscrupulous morons, Cat has asked that her blends be removed from the site. We thank her for sharing her formulas with us for some many years.

 
3 parts peach fo
3 parts pink grapefruit eo
1 part ginger fo
2-3 parts orange e.o. or f.o.
1 part clove e.o.
touch vanilla f.o. (this "mellows out" the clove)
(Try subbing apple f.o. for the orange for a spicy apple scent, too!)

3 parts Eucalyptus EO
1 Part Lavender EO
1 Part Rose FO
 
Berry Blend By Rebecca Picard
mix equal parts Blackberry and Cassis (which I get from Sweetcakes)
add a touch of vanilla
an even slighter touch of patchouli.
 
Tropical Vanilla By Karol Hovis
1 t coconut (SC) (I may have upped this to 2 parts and forgotten to note it) 2 t vanilla
1 t plumeria (SC)
2 t mango (SC)
1/2 t banana (BB)
2 t pineapple (not sure where this came from, but it is lovely!)
 
Cherry Pipe Tobacco By Becky(LM)
(Bittercreek's Tobacco and Cherry fragrance oils)
3 parts tobacco
1 part cherry
 
1 part Oakmoss
2 part clove
2-3 parts almond

3 parts lavender

Sunset By Jackie
Lavender,Clary Sage and just the very teeensyist
part of Ylang Ylang and you could leave that out and put
a teensy drop of Chamomile E/O.
 
Bug Off Blends

Blend #1-removed by special request of author

Blend #2
1 part peppermint EO
2 parts patchouli EO
4 parts tea tree EO
4 parts pine EO
4 parts bergamot EO
          (my notes say to watch for using this EO in the sun as it is a phototoxic EO)
Blend #3
1/4 ounce lemongrass EO
1/8 ounce lavender EO
1/2 ounce neem (oil, not an EO)
1/16 ounce peppermint EO
1/15 ounce thyme EO
Blend #3 notes say add 1/8 ounce of this blend to an
unscented lotion or add 1/8 ounce to 16 ounces of
oils. Use in half dilution for children age 6 to 12.

DS suggested more Peppermint, I thought more anise..
sort of smells like a Tom's of Maine Deodorant I use to use
